Earth Day 2024!

Meadowbrook Ecological Reserve Hike and Trash Pickup

Preserve Wild Poway will host a hike and trash pickup on Sunday 4/21/24 ! Please join us for a three mile hike and trash pick-up in honor of Earth Day 2024!

Meet at the Meadowbrook Lane cul-de-sac on Sunday 4/21/2024 by 9:00 AM. We will hike up the switch backs to the famous Van Dam Peak “slab”. Then descend via another route, ending up back at the cul-de-sac. the route is moderate in difficulty. Newly bloomed wild flowers will be abundant and likely will have wildlife sightings. There may be a porta-potty open at the Meadowbrook middle school field, but I can’t guarantee they will be available. Please wear appropriate clothing for hiking. Bags and some pickers will be available at the start. If possible, please RSVP to contact@preservewildpoway.org so that we will know to look for you.
